Cattleack Barbeque
An improbably obscure location—deep within a mostly faceless collection of low-slung industrial buildings near the Galleria—hasn’t done a thing to deter the crowds from Cattleack, one of the most celebrated barbecue joints in Texas. Nothing about the place evokes the energy and atmosphere of its esteemed peers, at least not visually, but you’re not here to admire cheesy, howdy-y’all, barbecue-themed decor. Rather, you’re for the meat—so get in line and pray they don’t run out of beef ribs.
